INTRODUCTION

Whitehall Farm is predominately a 17th century Farmhouse situated within a working farm steading on the eastern outskirt of the village of Burnham Thorpe,

ARRIVAL

The farm steading is clearly signed on the Walsingham road and the 60m x 50m short grass caravan site is immediately on your right as you enter via the10m gateway.

There are no specific pitch points allowing guests to choose their own position and aspect, we do however appreciate choosing guests avoiding obvious areas that a previous caravan might have used enabling the grass to recover.

 

FACILITIES

Electric hook-up points (10 amp) are situated on wood posts down the middle of the site and can be reached from any point of the site using standard 25m lead (we do have lead extensions if required)

A drinking water stand pipe is central on site.

Waste receptacles are situated on the end of the barn 10m from site edge and we appreciate guests taking the time to separate waste items into the clearly marked recycling bins.

   

The main house and reception is directly in front of the site across a 90m shingled area.

Guests are very welcome to bring their cars to this point if required to aid access to washing facilities and carrying of toilet cassettes due to poor health, foul weather etc.

Adjacent to the main Farmhouse front door is the door to shower room one a 2.2 x 2.6 room accessed through a 82cm door with a 10 cm threshold containing a 76cm sq shower cubicle with a 27cm entrance step, wash basin 83cm high and toilet 43 cm high. The room is heated and has a painted concrete floor with anti slip mats and a plastic armchair with 42cm seat hight.

A further 30m down the shingled yard is located shower room two and the chemical disposal point .

The chemical disposal point is a white block square with tin lid and rinse tap with pipe on corner post.

Shower room two is a portacabin type building cotanining one toilet room and one shower room each measuring 1.1m x 2.3m and accessed through a 82cm wide door with 2 x 25cm upward steps to enter, the toilet area contains one toilet with 40cm seat height and small wash basin to 80cm and anti slip floor suface.

The shower area contains one 72cm sq shower cubicle and one plastic armchair with 42cm seat height, both areas are heated.

Grey water can be disposed of in the bank/hedge behind barn.

 

DOGS

Well behaved dogs are very welcome to the site and there are many walking/exercising opportunities nearby but we do ask that other guests are respected and dogs are kept on a leash, kept quiet and all waste collected up and disposed of thoughtfully.

 

TELEPHONE AND INFORMATION

Mobile telephone reception is very good but a landline is available at the farmhouse if required.

The front hall of the farmhouse contains all local attraction brochures and information and guests are welcome to avail themselves of same.
